Carol doesn't want Mac's money. She didn't even come for Mac. She came to say goodbye. She reveals the baby isn't Mac’s—it belongs to a man she met in Blackpool—but she used Mac as an excuse to get the gang together one last time because she is moving to Canada to care for a sick relative.

The B-plot involves Dylan and Tommo trying to recover a stolen mobility scooter for a local war veteran. It seems like filler. It is not filler. The vet turns out to be Carol’s grandfather. In trying to do a good deed, Dylan accidentally reveals Mac’s financial situation to Carol, leading to the episode's final confrontation.
