Let’s be honest: Windows 11 has changed a lot since its debut. The flashy 2022 Update (22H2) and the AI-driven 23H2 have added features like tabs in File Explorer and Copilot. But for a specific group of users—enterprise IT admins, legacy hardware owners, and privacy-focused power users—the original Windows 11 21H2 (Build 22000) remains the holy grail.
Why? Because it lacks the bloat. No built-in Teams chat bottom-feeder? Check. No aggressive OneDrive backups? Check. It is lean, mean, and arguably the most "Windows 10-like" version of 11 available.
Just download 23H2. The security patches are worth the extra icons in the Start Menu.
