Always download the latest Maintenance Release for the specific major version your team standardized on. When in doubt, ask for the workbook’s .twb file (XML format)—you can open it in Notepad to see exactly which version built it. Need to roll back an upgrade? Keep your old installer .exe file in a "Software Archive" folder. Tableau does not keep installers for versions older than two years publicly available.
