Sofia Bryant (as Detective Mina Rostami) steals every scene she’s in. Her character has been a background presence until now. Episode 3 gives her the episode’s most shocking line—and she lands it with chilling calm. Direction and Cinematography Director Jessica Wu (known for Low Tide and Neon Skies ) takes over from Episode 2’s director, and the shift is noticeable. Wu favors long, unbroken takes during arguments, making you feel trapped in the room with the characters.
The answer is brutal, messy, and absolutely compelling. Picking up immediately after the cliffhanger, “The Breaking Point” opens with Alex staring at a photograph inside a cold storage locker.
