Kontakt - Ra

Pete was a retired radio amateur (callsign: VO1RA). Most villagers saw him as the eccentric who spent evenings tapping Morse code into a crackling box. "RA kontakt," he'd mutter to himself, logging distant signals from Iceland or the Azores.
