Adobe Photoshop CS6 is proprietary software. Even though Adobe no longer sells CS6 licenses (they moved to Creative Cloud in 2013), the software is still copyrighted. Uploading or downloading it from unofficial sources — including GitHub — violates Adobe’s terms and copyright law.

GitHub is known for hosting open-source software and development tools. Some users mistakenly believe abandonware or older paid software like Photoshop CS6 might be hosted there legally. Unfortunately, that’s not the case.

Only if you already have a valid perpetual license from back when Adobe sold CS6. There’s no legal free download. Adobe’s official site offers only Creative Cloud versions today.
