"Hey there, kiddo. What's going on?" Jameson asked gently, getting out of his car.

Jameson's expression softened. He had a daughter of his own, and the thought of her being lost and scared was unbearable. He quickly radioed for backup and asked Leana to get into his car while they waited for assistance to arrive.

As they sat in the squad car, Jameson learned that Leana was a shy and introverted 10-year-old who loved reading and playing soccer. She had been walking home from school when she took a wrong turn and got lost. Jameson listened attentively, asking questions and making her feel at ease.

As Jameson watched Leana hug her parents, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and satisfaction. He had helped a child in need, and that was all that mattered. He radioed for dispatch to let them know the situation was under control and headed back to his patrol.
