Kuthubiyath (from the Arabic root Qutb , meaning "axis" or "pole") refers to a complex and esoteric branch of Islamic spiritual metaphysics, primarily within Sufism. It is the body of knowledge concerning the Aqtab (plural of Qutb ), the highest-ranking saints in the hidden spiritual hierarchy of the universe.

In essence, is a mystical blueprint of the cosmos, asserting that God never leaves the world without a spiritual center. Whether accepted as profound gnosis or dismissed as pious legend, it represents a powerful current in Islamic esoteric thought—the belief that the unseen realm is structured, purposeful, and ultimately anchored by a single, silent, holy soul. Note: This write-up describes a Sufi esoteric concept. Beliefs and practices vary widely among Muslims, and not all accept the doctrine of Kuthubiyath.
