Margo, terrified but impressed, whispers, "How are you doing this?" After a historic drought on the Woodstone property
Sam refuses. Margo smiles. "I don't need your permission. The mineral rights beneath your property? Those were sold off in 1927 by Hetty’s husband. I own the essence below the dirt." The ghosts gather inside, flickering but present
Instead of a legal battle, Sam goes meta . She invites Margo back for a "second look," then stages a full-scale ghostly haunting using the well’s recharged energy. Sass projects a vision of Margo’s dead mother (via a well-placed photo Sam found on Facebook). Alberta makes the chandelier swing. Thor rattles every pipe in the house. And Hetty—for the first time—deliberately phases her hand through Margo’s tablet, corrupting the data on the mineral assay.
Sam leans in. "The land doesn't want to sell. And frankly? Neither do my roommates."
Technical Note (WEB-DL artifact): The WEB-DL contains an alternate audio track where the rain in the final scene is mixed in binaural 3D audio, designed to feel as if the viewer is standing inside the well as it fills. A hidden subtitle track (labeled "Ghosts_Commentary_S03E10_V3") includes sarcastic reactions from the actors, including Brandon Scott Jones muttering, "I cannot believe they cut my monologue about ghost taxes."
