Sam helps Elena accept her death by showing her a diary she left behind in the attic — her last entry reads: “If I die here, I hope someone will listen.” Elena calms down, gains control of her poltergeist ability, and uses it to gently return Jay’s skillet — right onto the reviewer’s breakfast plate, which impresses him so much he gives five stars.
