For those unfamiliar with the concept, Creature Commandos is a team of monstrous heroes assembled by the US government to take on supernatural threats. Led by Rick Flag, the team consists of a ragtag group of creatures, including a Frankenstein's monster-like creature named Lobo, a Medusa-like G.G. (short for "Gorgeous Gwen"), and a werewolf named Bulldozer.

The story begins with a bang - literally - as a group of brain-dead, ripped-apart convicts are reanimated by a shadowy organization known as DEMON (short for "D.E.M.O.N.", which stands for "Diabolic Entity Manifesting Overt Nemesis"). The episode also touches on themes of identity, humanity, and what it means to be a monster. Lobo, in particular, grapples with his own existence, questioning whether he's truly alive or just a reanimated corpse.
