Alex paused.

"Why am I so full?" Alex muttered, right-clicking on Drive C in despair. "I've deleted all my Documents. I've emptied the Downloads folder. Yet… I have only 2GB left!" appdata directory
From that day on, Alex never cursed the AppData directory again. They learned its secret language—how to clear caches without killing configurations, how to let Roaming work its magic across devices, and how to respect the silent, hidden work of the city beneath the city.
But Alex didn't know that. To Alex, it was just a bloated folder. Alex paused
Slowly, Alex closed the window. Instead of deleting everything, they opened Local , found only the folder named Temp , and emptied that. They then used the built-in "Storage Sense" to clean old caches gently, without destroying the delicate ecosystem.
"Delete me if you must," Roaming said. "But I carry your email signatures, your VPN settings, your carefully tuned code snippets for work. If you delete me, every other computer in your office will forget who you are tomorrow." I've emptied the Downloads folder
They ran a disk cleanup. The standard wizard cleaned the Recycle Bin and temporary internet files. It didn't help.
